The deposition law of particles on the surface of heat exchanger of outdoor air ventilators and the effect of dust deposition on the performance of heat exchangers are studied by experiments. The results show that for the heat exchangers with the same structure, the larger the air volume is, the smaller the deposition fraction of particles with the same particle size is. When the air volume is 250 to 350 m3/h, the deposition fraction of particles increases with the increase of particle size in the particle size range of 0.3 to 10.0 μm. With the increase of operating time, the amount of dust deposition increases. After 30 and 70 days of dust deposition, the average total heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger decreases by 2.314% and 5.613% compared with that in the clean state, respectively. Some suggestions are put forward to reduce the deposition of particles on the surface of the heat exchanger.
